Winter Zell am See Kaprun

In Kaprun, winter comes early. During the autumn holidays of 2007 even the Maiskogel (1730 m) was already white with snow, in addition to the eternal snow on the Kitzsteinhorn.

Lively winter sports town

From a rural village, the ski resort Kaprun has grown into a lively tourist centre, where all kinds of facilities are available.
It is a reasonably flat village, with many restaurants, après-ski bars, supermarkets and sport shops. Here you can follow the latest fashion in winter sports clothing.

Skiing for people of all ages

On the outskirts of the town is the ski lift to the ‘family mountain’, the Maiskogel.
Here your children can learn to ski on the blue runs, but also the parents will find enough opportunities to have a great time on the more difficult runs.

Snow is always guaranteed on the glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn.
The free ski bus covers the entire region between Zell am See – Fürth – Kaprun.
